where does all the aggression flow from…..usually from misconceptions I believe

This weeks contention made the blog of local surf journalist for The TImes..Adam Zervas sent me the copy..see Alex Wades column and have a think…..
and then decide who you want to be KOOK or KOOL??

well I understand that the incident referred to in the article was a lot simpler as the paddlesurfers and surfers were all the same posse out having a good time swopping boards….Why blame the type of watercraft..Its the rider that counts
And what am i going to do>>>>>>

starting friday 4th April you can all have a go…

We will be starting a paddle club….it’s for all of you ladies mens kids that want to take advantage of the sea but neither have the time, know how or the money…we’ll teach you how to paddle on the new boards and get you riding waves where possible….It’ll be every Friday 4th April from 4pm onwards, we’ll meet outside the surf lifesaving club on the seafront!! call or mail us to register your interest!
Why..well the bsupa.org have asked me to judge their wave competitions this year-an honour in itself
…and that led me to think about the training programme for a stand up paddle teaching qualification which doesn’t as yet exist but will soon. I would like to help put that together ..and so we’re looking for guinea pigs..

In addition we will be puting 6-10 boards on the seafront for use by club members..fees start at £15 per month per person for the try-out period..Interested call me or mail me tids 01395 227007 or Matt harbour 01395 277632 and register your details on the database and we’ll let you know when the first friday will start ..Easter ..probably!

a little reminder of good things to come????????…..this was taken from last years lifeboat jumble….when Matt bought a canoe he rowed away from the jumble!!!!

me and me paddle buddy got some small mud slabs in a freezing westerly yesterday….keith’s got a new wave dance..roll on the warm summer……we’ve got the best 3 months of the year to go so dry them smelly boots off boys and girls ‘cos we’re gonna be needing them…….interested in getting cold and wet then get your ass down my harbour shop…call or mail…..

The media would have us believe it’s a giant sale that’s the beginning and end all to a successful new year……
I don’t subscribe to all the consumer- driven city dweller stuff…..I’m gonna play with the kids, go for a surf, dress up and squirt new-years revellers with silly string…and put the photos on my blog or some-such……a plan ……not really……more going with the flow…….after all it’s my holidays !!!!!!

I’m gonna dress as the silver surfer - I’ve dressed as a Elf the whole of Christmas..or so it feels..

I have a small niggle in my mind I’ve decided to ask for feedback from my regulars on the subject of SALES…….

..This SALE FRENZY has made me ask should we go into Sale the day after boxing day???????? So the jacket you bought before Christmas for £90 is now £45 …two days later…!!!!
I bought a reasonably valued printer for £49 before Christmas now it’s in the sale I’m annoyed…it’s a printer not last seasons winter clothing…..it still infuriated me..OR do the public accept products bought before Christmas to be 50% cheaper two days later???

What do you think?????????????????
OR shall we keep it as it is ???

How it is: Do a Sale when no one else does at say the end of January-ish and give you guys on the database a couple of weeks priority notice…like we’ve always done…
